Frequently Asked Questions
What is filmclassics.com.au?
Film Classics is a place dedicated to the love of classic movies. We have over 5,000 titles in our catalog updated weekly.
What movies do you have?
We offer mainly classic movies (pre-1980). We have studio releases and films that have not been commercially released and are in the public domain. Due to the rarity of our public domain movies please forgive any minor natural imperfections in the films themselves.
What is public domain?
A work has entered public domain because either the copyright has not been applied for or it has expired. Anything that is not protected under the copyright law can include works published between 1928 and under certain circumstances works published up to 1978. Re-published and re-packaged public domain information or creative works are not illegal. The reason is that because the work has fallen into the public domain there are no royalties to pay on the work.
What is your return/refund policy?
Please choose carefully as you are not entitled to a refund because you change your mind OR make a mistake on your order.
FILM CLASSICS accepts no responsibility for downloads not delivered where a wrong or incomplete email address has been entered, please check your details at checkout.
